Where we come from Exactly 30 years ago, Huub Achten founded the company Achten Reklame; a company that immediately set itself apart through its intense engagement with its clients. This quality has continued to this day. Also when the business became Bureau Achten in 1995 and evolved into a full service communication agency, earning its spurs with a wide range of projects. No-nonsense, perfectionism and creativity were the keys to the success of our projects even then.

Internally, the company took great strides too. In 1989, current director Ramon Achten joined the agency. Driven by his ambitions, not only the number of staff grew, but above all the potential and opportunities which were grabbed with both hands. Not least through the investments - unique for their time - in automation and digital technology. The specialisation in 3D animations and computer graphics developed in such a way that sister company synthesiSFactory was founded. Manager from the start, Jan de Olde, was also a pioneer in the Internet, a phenomenon which is now such an indispensable part of our lives. synthesiSFactory soon pushed the boundaries and expanded to become an internationally operating company for website development and online applications.

Where we are going – with you The strength of Bureau Achten and synthesiSFactory has always lain in their intensive collaboration which combined design and technology to produce remarkable results. In our view, the division between the two companies is now outdated. Our aim is to intensify our teamwork in order to improve how we serve existing and new clients with a wide range of products and services.

This has resulted in the merger of Bureau Achten and synthesiSFactory. The new Bit Agency is still familiar: short lines, fantastic know-how, huge enthusiasm and a great deal of talent.
